Alan Dickson’s mining consultancy started in April 1979 when Alan started
business as a sole trader under the name Alan Dickson & Associates. In April
1987 the consultancy was incorporated as Alan Dickson & Associates Pty
Ltd.
Although the business basically acts as a company supplying the
individual professional services of Alan Dickson, it has also supplied the
services of other resource orientated people. Those associates are generally
retained on a sub-contract basis for particular
assignments.
The business has maintained an office in the professional suburb of West
Perth in Western Australia since incorporation. The office is well equipped to
handle the commissions awarded to the firm; though on occasion Alan has and will
work as part of a larger team in a client’s
premises.
The Principal has more than 40 years experience in the industry and the
last 30 of those have been on a consulting basis. A broad range of commodities
and mining methods have been the subject of many studies and reports. Whether
the deposit is suitable to open pit or underground extraction, the consultancy
has experience in both and may well be able to assist
you.
